New born kittens died with in 24 hours (3/5 kittens)?

I am not sure what the solution might be, but if she cannot properly care for them, you may need to bottlefeed them for 8 weeks till they are weaned.If she is harming them, you may need to separate them. I also had a female cat who got outside and got pregnant. She gave birth to 7 and two died at birth. She did not know how to care for them at first. She laid right on top of the remaining 5 kittens and wouldn't move even though they shrieked and hollered. We did touch the newborns to move them into a box. She picked them up and transported them elsewhere dropping some of them from the bed to the floor. One of the kittens lost her breath in the process. I was afraid to go to work for fear they might be dead when I returned, but fortunately, she learned to be a good mother. The rest survived and are healthy.
