Is it legal to start a private strike team?

i have a prejudice against extremists, obviously, bcuz i hate osama bin laden. he got wat was coming for him and i would like to see that happen to all the other leaders of al qaeda. would it be legal in US jurisdiction to have a group of people to act like mercenaries, go to al qaeda territory and destablize their known compounds, hideouts, and stashes? just wondering. basically im asking if its ok for international vigilantism.
